What is hellokoo+ and how does it work
Welcome to hellokoo+
This was supposed to be the first prompt but we understand some of you are probably a little daunted by this new venture. Allow us to put you to ease. Hellokoo+ is an interactive newsletter/exclusive community housed in a platform called substack.
Every Wednesday we will send out a prompt, a little more elaborate than the Instagram standard without deadline or pressure. You can view these one of three ways:
By going to hellokoo.co
Via your email as every newsletter is sent directly to your inbox. Check your spam and promotion folders as they sometimes end up there.
If you have an Apple phone you can download the app from the App Store. Login to this and you will see all the hellokoo+ posts.
At the end of every newsletter there will be this button:
If you click this it will direct you to the comments where you will share your wonderful work.
Every Sunday we will be putting out a second newsletter that will be exclusive to paid subscribers. Subscription costs $10 a month or $100 a year. Unfortunately, we can only take annual subscriptions via PayPal, if you’d like to do this, please get in touch via email or on Instagram.
The Sunday posts will either be challenges or discussion threads to help build the community and encourage growth.
These are the standard days. We will also be having a monthly recap and monthly call along with extras thrown in sporadically. These could include workshops, writing exercises, writing tips and even special guest posts. We are also working on a zine for hellokoo+ that will start digital but move into physical eventually. More info on this soon.
If you head to hellokoo.co after you have signed up (free or paid) you will see all of the emails we have already sent out. This is known as the archive. Paid subscribers will have access to everything whilst the free subscribers will only be able to view the newsletters we’ve put out as free.
